Statement
“The
World is so full of such wonderful things,” said R.L.
Stevenson, “I’m sure we should all be as happy as
kings”. Like me, Robert Louis Stevenson must have been
an eternal optimist. But the reality is that the world is
also full of pretty awful things too and that is why I
make art, trying to keep ahead of all the bad stuff.
My
sole purpose is to create something beautiful - something
that will make someone happy and with any luck something
that will outlive me. I also hope my art helps people to
see . . . everybody LOOKS but do they SEE?
