Maggie Vanderweit

Maggie Vanderweit creates contemporary textile art with her original handprinted and dyed fabrics, layered surface design, photo transfer, collage and digitally manipulated images. She is a Juried Artist Member of SAQA, a member of CQA, Connections Fibre Artists and Soul Stories.  

Maggie's art is exhibited globally and her work is widely published in magazines and books. Her own book Stone Threads was published in 2016. She has won many awards. In 2021 Calling All Angels was included in Quilt National. 
She has recently retired from teaching and lecturing to spend more time travelling, creating art and enjoying  family and friends.
