Blue is a universally popular colour, one that connotes a variety of things to different people.
On a macro level, the planet earth looks blue from space.
On a micro level, blues are found throughout nature in various minerals, flowers and birds.
The members of Connections Fibre Artists challenged themselves to delve into the colour blue,
and created an entire exhibition highlighting this very special hue.
The whole gallery was immersed in a sea of blue showing a stunning and fascinating variety of fibre art.
BLUE was exhibited at the Homer Watson House and Gallery in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada
from September 11 to November 9, 2025.
